Come journey with us on the wings of an angel known as Krishna Das. Sri & Kira’s special guest is known for his ability to transport listeners to other worlds with the eloquence of his deep, hypnotic voice and the soothing sounds of the harmonium. We will play clips from several of his popular CD’s, including his newest release Flow of Grace. Krishna Das met Ram Dass in 1968, shortly after Ram Dass returned from India. Inspired by Ram Dass’ many stories about Neem Karoli Baba, Krishna Das traveled to India, where he met and stayed with Baba for nearly three years. Krishna Das’ heart was especially drawn to the practice of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of devotion, which led him deeper and deeper into the practice of kirtan—chanting the Names of God. Inspire your divine to dance, allow your heart to sing, and spend an evening with us that will open your sacred life evermore. “There are as many religions as there are people!”…Gandhi
